Is God to blame?
The Bible says: No! God had never wanted us to suffer. The reason for all the suffering is because of the disobedience of the first human couple. They rebelled against God's authority.
In doing so, they followed a spirit person who had already done so. The Bible says the following about this invisible spirit:
°Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing that he has a short period of time.”
(Revelation 12:12).
This invisible person is the devil. He influenced the first people and is trying to do the same with all people today.
The goal? That the people do things that displease God.
The first people could decide for themselves to follow God or the devil. Because they turned their back on God, they had to bear the consequences. They lost their perfection and passed on this imperfection to all people.
It was their decision. Thus, it is clear that suffering does not come from God. You can read it in the Bible: "When under trial, let no one say: 'I am being tried by God.' For with evil things God cannot be tried, nor does he himself try anyone." (James 1:13).
In one of my next blogs, I will show that there is hope.
